Recaro will probably make all of vw's seats (apart from the konig's! lol) - the ones branded as recaro are for marketing, if you like them then go for them! -

the one above is a Recaro Sportster CS if i remember right, when you buy one from recaro direct they are simply normal adjustable seats that require the appropriate subframes for your car but they are used in the RS4 and badged 'RS4' not recaro and have airbags and electronic adjustment fitted, they will fit onto generic recaro mk4 or mk5 runners though so not to much of a problem!

Same as The Recaro pole positions you find in a mk1 TT QS - the TT ones are actually slightly taller than the ones you'd buy from recaro as aftermarket seats! - but will fit to the appropriate recaro subframe if you wanted to put them in a mk4 or 5!

I've seen something about the Recaro retrofit on this forum, but can't find that thread. But do VW retrofit the Recaros? and what kind of seat does the R32 have, its not at least the one the above picture...?
