Default 3 other people to buy a fancy pot of wax??

      Hi,

I've really got in to my detailing just lately. Got myself a couple of waxes and some of the higher end waxes have been amazing in both ease of use, looks and durability. The only thing is for the average person the cost of them.

This isn't a for sale thread I'm just wondering if 3 other people fancy buying a pot of wax and then splitting the cost and wax equally 4 ways.

I'm not looking to make any profit what so ever from this or gain anything just want some nice wax and hopefully some people feel the same way.

Don't really mind what wax people want to try but certainly something above the usually DODO etc people love on here. Thinking along the lines of Zymol / Swissvax etc.

Most tubs are 200ml so we'd get 50ml each which should last a year or two for the average user.

Anyone interested add your name on here and what wax you'd be interested in and if we get enough we'll get it sorted and have some super shiny R32's!!

      Cheers

How would you be looking to divide and contain the wax?

Scoop it out a guy on detailing world has done it but makes a good few quid for himself on each pot just wanted to do it and have the chance to try a few more waxes.

You can't buy many sample pots or I'd of just bought them and save the hassle only company that really does is dodo and there stuff isn't comparable to some of the higher end stuff.

Maybe some zymol glasur to start with be around £25 each.

Much better depth and shine, great beading and good durability. I wouldn't say zymol royale is worth 5k but something like a £150 tub of swissvax BOS is far superior and much easier to use. I've got nothing against dodo and use several of there products just going from my own experience!

BOS is a great wax but don't do as it suggests and apply by hand if you buy it, you will just end up using way too much product with little benefit IMHO............not a massive fan of Dodo Juice products myself and used Supernatural for the first time this weekend and it was OK.........

Worth the investment if you can afford BOS on your own.........

Cheers mate your view is appreciated. I've got some onyx and BOS just fancied something else and wondered if anyone wanted to share in the goodness but it doesn't look like it!

If you buy a pot to yourself and take what you want you will always get a decent return from selling it back on Detailing World.

I had Zymol Vintage, used it once and sold it for more than I paid - wax changes hands so readily on there.

I know mate I just thought it would of been nice for 4 of us to have some zymol or something to similar and for £25 each it would be a bargain.

I was thinking of some glasur which is a £100 tub so would be just over £25 each after postage etc and buying the small pots.

BOS is £145 for the tub so would be slightly more but it really is a much much better wax than the dodo stuff!

If three people are genuinely interested I'll still happily get it sorted.

Possibly swissvax best of show / zymol glasur something between £100 and £150 which would possibly be a little more than the average person would want to pay but doing it this way they can get the experience for a quarter of the price.

If people really want BOS then we can go with that. Its £145 for a tub so would be one of the higher end waxes I'd look at buying.

      Thanks

Yeah much easier to apply and remove, you'll honestly be shocked how easy it is to wipe off!

BOS is an amazing wax, miles ahead of super natural. If you interested mate and possibly the 4th I can get a price (with a break down of costs) for you all and PM them tomorrow and once moneys received I'll get an order in and should have it out within a week to get a good coat or two on before the cr@p weather sets in!

      Thanks

      Hi guys.

Just had a quick look at costs...

Swissvax best of show will be....

      £37.75 for the wax
£1.50 for air tight screw top 50ml pot
£2.50 for 1st class recorded delivery to your address.

      Total £41.75

      Zymol Glasur

£25.75 for the wax and same pot and postage.

      Total £29.75

Everything is split 4 ways perfectly equal I.e amount of wax and cost.

I will pm everyone who's shown an interest and see how we get on.
