Default car still not right after repair??

hi guys new to the forum but iv had my r32 for just over a year now,

i recently had an accident where i was driving along very tired and managed to hit the kerb, the resulting damaged cost me £1700 to fix which included everything under the front n/s arch(suspention, wishbone, wheel etc) and also a rear n/s tyre that got puctured too, now since the repair under normal driving the car feels perfect but the other day driving down the motorway from 60mph+ the car seems to feel out of control when changing lanes the best way i can describe it is it feels like i got 2 flat rear tyres and that the ass is wagging?? any help would be great.

p.s. the car has been on vw's laser alighnment and that checks out ok and also all tyres are upto pressure with lots of tread.

      cheers guys

      Hi and welcome

Sorry about your problems , I was going to suggest the Laser alighnment also but you have done this

It couls be the Haldex controller as mine went tits up and the back end felt odd reversing and turning at low speeds)

See if anyone has got vagcom that can do a scan on your car ?

Edited - What about rear springs ?

Hi Al, welcome to the forum.

Other than the alignment which you've already had checked, I'm afaid it goes beyond my technical knowledge! Hopefully someone else will come up with another suggestion.

Hope you're able to get it sorted soon. Have you taken someone from VW out in it in similar conditions?

im going to take someone out in it tomorrow to see what they think but iv jus been out in it and its actually cornering cack at low speeds also so i am also thinking damaged springs.

would the vagcom show anything that has not come up on the main display as iv not had any warning lights come up?

      cheers

May sound silly but have you checked the wheel balancing?

I had a shake at 60mph+, had the allignment done but it was still there. Turned out to be the ballancing.

If you haven't had that done, do that first as that's a cheap option.

Mine was exactly the same and it turned out i had a bent strut.

I'd suggest you take it to an accident repair centre different to the one you've had the work done at and get it properly checked. If it hadnt been for Banks and derbyshire i probably would still have knackered susp and just got it aligned at quickfit.
