Had my Mk4 booked in at parkway vw in derby this morning for the ecu update. Was really annoying me having the huge flat spot between 2k and 3k.

After driving home i can't believe what a difference its made to the car. It now seems to pull much harder throughout the rev range, and it actually feels like theres some power under the bonnet!

Can't argue for £35

when i first called to book it in,they tried to tell me there wasn't an update available. I'd allready checked my ecu code beforehand so knew mine hadn't been updated.

Does it not take half an hour then ? I would have thought it would.

was sick of the flat spot so was worth the £35. I imagine it only took 10mins to upload the new map but oh well.

no more power just takes out a dip in torque around 3000rpm makes it more driveable
