£100 and it doesn't even come with the software as far as I can see!

absolute rip off! They've got no chance - it's bad enough paying £60 for the app!

You can buy a dedicated TomTom with the touchscreen, cradle, software, and everything you need for £99.

This just seems like they are taking the piss to me!

David.

Surely you can just use a normal holder?

It does.........

The receiver in the iphone isn't brilliant so they have put an external one in the mount.

David.

i just got one yesterday and the gps in the mount is vastly improved over the iphone one, also works with other gps software as i also have copilot.

i bought it as i wanted everything in one unit, phone with handsfree and navi for one the factory vw isn't up to scratch. also can use it in my other cars then.

also charges so don't have to worry about battery life so much now.

must admit £100 is a lot, but in the end i had to have one.

I have copilot and I haven't found an issue with the GPS signal in the phone at all seems to work well.
