Default Put My Mind At Rest

      Hi All,
As some of you are aware, I have been on here a while now but havent actually had an R32 (I do appreciate no one slaughtering me for that).

The time has come (15th Feb when i get paid) to put my car up for sale and start looking for a MK4 R32.

The trouble im having is finding one at between £11,500-£12,000 with leather and less than 37k on the clock and a 3dr.

I dont want to push my budget and get a MK5. Anything else that I can get on the MK4 (cruise, sunroof etc) is a bonus but I really dont want to substitute the leather, miles and 3dr.

Put my mind at rest and tell me il find one as at present im really struggling. In fact, I havent seen one since last year where i thought "id have that if i was ready".

Im just really worried that im not going to find my car. There are some on autotrader at the minute with 40k miles but i want less than that.

      Im a bit dis-heartened ;-(

      Sorry.

      J.

Why do you want less than 40K ?

Seems to me your a bit stuck in the middle. There wont be many MKiv's for sale with less than 40k miles as there older cars and even the youngest is 6 years old. Your budget is a bit high for a MKiv and too low for a mkv.

Whats wrong with a good 40k + mkiv ? it wont be any worse than one with 37k miles. You could just wait and maybe you will be lucky but in your position I would look for a 40 to 45k miles one which should be well under your budget.

You have the budget for the best of the low mileage mk4s out there.
They do exist, but a bit like buses, wait for ages, then 4 of them turn up at the same
      time. It will happen...

Just keep looking fella the right car will come along.
I looked for just over 5 months for my MK4 R32, it had to be red with low miles.
I nearly cracked a couple of times and went to look at a couple of blue ones, but in the end if you don't get what you set out to get, imo you will never be truely happy with the deciosion you took.
      Just hold out!!!
By the way, what are your preferred colours?
