Heading towards Taunton

I can only imagine it is past Monkton Heathfield junction towards Creech Castle stretch around the Jaguar and Land Rover Dealer

I always knew it as being 40mph once off the Dual Carriage way.

Annoyed as I was doing 37mph thinking it was 40.

does anyone know where i'm talking about?

says manual detection on the letter i got

i can go on speeding course, but still £60

just so annoying. fair enough if i knew it was a 30, but for years it was 40 and i didn't notice any signs

Isnt there a fixed gatso there going wesbound, ie into taunton. Used to drive that way quite a lot up to uni and back.

Ask for photos, proof of calibration etc etc.

how do i go about asking for photos, proof of calibration?

you got to put it in writing and they will send ..... should be on the letter you got ?

got 28 days to reply from 18/02/10, but does not affect the notice period if making enquiries.

as i am the driver during the alleged offence, options are :
page 2. reply to notice form, but doesn't give me the option to ask for evidence or calibrations etc. only for those who have more than 8 points, unable to pay £60 fine or mitigating circumstances
page 3. payment of fixed penalty form
page. 4 safety awareness form

they caught me doing 37mph which to me sounds spot on if i thought it was a 40 restricted speed zone

do i just write a letter asking for evidence of photo and speed calibration details to the address on the letter

also i would have been careful with the little one and parents in the car too

It must have been a mobile speed camera partnership van parked up somewhere ... if you did'nt see it, it must have been hidden sneakily away

As you say, it looks like it has only recently gone to 30mph
