Default For anyone wanting a private plate.....

      Look here first!!

The R I've bought currently has the plate V6 OXF on it that the old owner left me and no longer wants.... however I've got my own plate V6 HUD, that is going on it as soon as I get the log book back.

So that leads me to offer, does anyone want the current plate I have? Obviously you will need to pay me the fee's for taking the plate off and transferring it to you, but I don't want any extra money for it, would rather someone on here got a bargain, seeing as how there aren't that many V6 plates left for cheapness.

It beats giving it back to the DVLA, who will just sell it for £499, the robbing gits.

That's a great offer for someone - especially if they live in Oxford. I used to live there but not anymore. I'd take you up on your kind offer but I already have a plate. Nice one

      Thanks!

Dodders sent me the first PM... so would give first refusal, and then yourself, I think that's the fairest. I'm going to call the DVLA now and get an exact cost.

I'm transferring a plate onto the car and one off it, I did get very confused when it was explained. I think the way I understood it was to transfer mine on.. the one on it on retention and then I sign it over to the new owner, and they put on their car.

Dodders has first dibs on the plate guys and girls as he contacted first, will be at least 4 weeks anyhow, because I've not even got my log book back yet.

If dodders doesn't want it, IRN-BRU has next option.
