timeattack is against the clock, not against the other cars on the circuit. so you can dilly dally about as much as you want aslong as you stay off the racing line.

Yeah the "Gobstopper" as it's called was driven by Olly Clark. You should hear this thing, it's very nice bit of kit indeed. Saw it at their workshop when I owned a RCM tuned Impreza, think Matt Clark said the "Gobstopper" was about 850BHP....v.nice!!

Quite fancy a set of the Dymag Carbon Fibre/Magnesium Alloy wheels fitted to it but they are serious money.

Scoobyclinic also have a new widebody impreza for the timeattack that looks like it will be very good and then there's also Norris Design's with their Evo iX. It's a little more understated ;-) then the current crop of Impreza's but no less capable.

Some great 4 wheel drifting around those corners, the power really drags it round.

Thats one hell of a car.

I saw the team at 10 of the Best last year, and they were destroying everything. So well prepped and not only sounded awesome they looked it to.

I'm afraid im not a big fan of Simon Norris's work. This is just from personal experience, but every time I've seen their cars compete they've broken! (4 times running!!!)

They even demonstrated this on a Topgear episode when one of their Evo's threw a rod trying to pull that caravan!

Simon's development work in the cars is admirable but they seem far to over developed, what with broken props, drive trains, antilag and all other things I've seen when they've performed runs, it makes me wonder sometimes.

Then all you've got to do is look at the damn thing!!

have to agree with you there mate. They always run everything at 110% and seem to suffer from quite a few mechanical failures because of it. If they just backed off a little I'm sure they'd have better results. They are very knowledgeable guy's and speaking from experience some of there lesser tuned cars are very good.
