Anyone know where I could buy a new center grill section for a Mk5 R32? I don't seem to be able to track one down anywhere. I only need the black plastic bit, not the silver surround. Also are there any aftermarket alternatives?

Aftermarket stuff for MKV is not so popular, and not much can be found at aftermarket dealers. But I bet UK and US have big aftermarkets for cars, so if you're in those countries you'll maybe get lucky when searching.

The mkv grill comes as one piece, and you can order it trough a VW/Audi dealer if not found elsewhere. Authorized dealers are usually more expensive than aftermarket stores.
In sweden for exampel, a stock mkv grill is 345 USD from the VW/Audi dealer.

But check out online car-junkyards, there must be someone who has crashed their MKV with a intact grill.

thanks for this, I can find the whole grill, most of the front end in fact, but only need the black plastic bit in the middle below the number plate.

I'll keep hunting for it - just trying to locate one as the dealer is replacing it as it was broken when I bought the car but they have had the whole grill on back order for ages which seems silly as it's only a small part that I need.
