Hey folks, just signed up to this awsum lookin site

One thing i want to ask is if anyone has installed lights in the footwells of their car? Im wantin to install some blue lights here however as im no "boy racer" as the term goes, and am aware that to have lights on inside the car while driving is illegal im wanting them fairly low key as to not be seen above window height and just create a cool vibe :P lol. also i dont really want the bulbs to be visible so im thinkin of under the dash?

Hope someones got some ideas?

Cheers

Danny

neons are easy to mount under the dash and give a bright glow. wrap a couple of layers or window tint round the tube till you get the required brightness. you can use LEDs but i found these spotty on mine. i went with white and wired them upto the center interior lights. Its not a good idea IMO to have them on when youre driving.

kk, cool, cheers man.

One other thing... howd you go about powering them? dont really want any nasty loose wires to the cigarette liter. any chance of wiring them with a power switch to the unused button spaces above the radio? (mk4) or anywhere else tidy..

Cheers

Danny
