Wheel Wizards Home Page | I'd prefer to keep the list to recommendations at the moment. That way people can be pretty confident they are going to get a decent job done.

| Another very good option is Chips Away. They can do individual wheels, at your house or work for about £50-£60 each + VAT. I kerbed mine and had it sorted as good as new for next to nothing. Saves you having to have a complete refurb. I know the guy in the North Tyneside area very well and I'm sure he will know others around the country to perhaps sort a discount out? Message me if this helps as happy to pass his number out.

| Pristine wheels have done 2 different sets for me and the finish on both was awesome. Check out the pics on my car for an idea bu always get nice comments about them. If I can remember right I paid about £700 - £800 to have them fully diamond cut and polished inclusing 4 brand new goodyear f1's. Definately recommend them!! | | | |

The place i use has just dropped their prices to £180 (inc VAT) for 4 wheels with tyres (includes tyres off, on & balancing) - cost me £45 for a single wheel this week.

| 1st one on the list BJV Engineering - Alloy Wheel Refurbishing where abouts are you? they will accept wheels if you want to send them by courier as most will. im sure there will be somewhere fairly local to you though.
anthracite wheels look nice on DBP but its far from the standard silver hehe
colour wise the brighter the silver you can get the cleaner it will look. most companies will have all the standard colours though as a lot of customers will just want one doing and want it to match the others. if youre getting all done then shade of silver isnt as important IMHO.

| Mike give Romax a ring...they are only in Stockton and is £200 for 4 18" wheels powder coated...that includes tyres off and on and balanced.
Don't know what there silver is like but they do plenty of that colour.
If you book it in and can leave car with them they do a same day service as well or I have 4 wheels you could use if you need your car.

| Cheers for the replies...I live over at Hamsterley Forest near Durham if you've heard of there??
The only concern I had about power coating was that I've heard it can sometimes crack after a while??

| I'll add Wicked Wheels to the list of recommended wheel refurbers - particularly if you need a mobile solution. Can only speak for the guy the I dealt with but he did an excellent job on a couple chrome finished split-rim wheels that turned out like new.
They had some pretty impressive kit in the back of their van also - somewhere around £50k of gear in each IIRC. wickedwheels.co.uk/

| I used Pristine for mine, all 4 for £380 I think. Had them done in Sparkle Silver which on a bright day makes them look awesome (so long as they're clean)
Pic doesn't do it justice
Oh, and the exchange program isn't available for the R32 as I found out. All the R32 wheels they have belong to VW.
