| Hi all,
i'm looking to turbo or supercharge my mk5 next year so in the mean time i was considering upgrading the air panel filter or an induction kit but i'm not too sure on which would be good for the car as mine is completely factory stock.
i've heard some people say panel filters work very well on mk5's and some say induction kits work better, so abit of a dilemma.
any help or links to what to buy would be greatful and appreciated
Thanks
Sunny

| If you're going to be saving for a turbo, is it worth doing anything at the moment?
If you are desperate to change it then just stick an ITG panel filter in it for now!

| What Matt says!
Basically, save the money towards a turbo because whichever company you use will very likely want a certain filter (maybe even stock?). | | | |

| If you are saving for a turbo conversion, the panel filter would be less costly if it is to be replaced at a later date.

For the extra cost, what benefits does it bring?

| Green Panel Celica. Remember if you get a new filter keep your old one for when you need to clean the green panel.

| i had intakes on previous cars, mainly for noise, but it also gave better throttle response.
can't really see a panel filter giving me any favourable noticeable differences so will stick with stock
