| Johnny,
What lance and snow foam will be best to buy, just purchased a karcher pressure washer in anticipation of my detail. Do you just use the snow foam solution neat or is it diluted as I dont see five litres lasting long.

| i also recommend that snow lance. i had to grind mine to make it fit the karcher but it does a good job. Just fill it neat with snow foam and adjust the valve on top to adjust the mix (saving you having to mix with water outside) and twist the end to adjust the spread. | | | |

| Good reply Paulie spot on.
As for filling it neat... you only need about an 1nich in the bottom, then fill the rest with water. Then turn the mix rating to full. Other wise its over kill and too much product is put on the car. which can play hell with the rinse and drying process.

| Jonny: so why not use neat and turn the mix right down? when i was mixing it with water and used it on full mix then it didnt seem to last very long. I dont have any probs doing it this way and saves me having to keep remixing and filling. id even go as far as to say im now using less foam product than when i was mixing it. | | | |

| I find it different when turning the ratio down... how it foams etc.
Plus sometimes i have to add different shampoo's in for what i am doing, like Hyperwash for a strong, stripping wash.
I sometimes use APC through it for some engine bays, arches etc
Plus after using it your meant to run water through the lance to clean it after use. Which is stated in the instructions that come with the lance.
I find that the measurement of using one bottle per car wash great. First half... spray over, leave, rinse - which removes most of the bigger and loose dirty. Second half same again then use a mitt and bucket of clean warm water to wash it down.
No real gain to anyone but once its empty and cleaned i can simply store it wherever. If its still full and its on its side they tend to leak, which is no good for when i have to travel.
