| With the introduction of the new Golf R (and a new 4 pot engine) is now the time for the forum to be seperated into MK4, MK5 and MK6 forums? Whilst there has never really been an issue between the MK4/MK5 due to them sharing the same engine I feel the new 2.0T might cause some confusion
Just a thought.

| does that also mean that r36 drivers get separated too. Sam [womble] is going to need his own forum at this rate
I think it should all stay the same, but we should be allowed to take the piss out of the four pots

| i think it would be easier if every member had to put the model they have so when information is given we know in what context.
as for splitting the forum up, i think you will find people will get seperated into their respective areas a bit and the forum will suffer a bit. | | | |

| Agree with you simonmac it's a cracking forum and to split it up just by model would cause people to go there seperate ways and that not what a forums about in my eyes!
Everyone should offer advice, jokes n banter help what ever model you got.

haha, we'll get really upset if you take the piss out of our 4 pots, the worst bit is going to be all that extra power you guys are going to have to go along with the gorgeous exhaust note.
anyway we should get plenty more
moments

| I think Nelson has a valid point, afterall the name of this site is "R32oc". I am not sure whether a Mk6 R owner is going to want to be here amongst us or that a dedicated Mk6/scirocco R site wouldn't better serve those owners. Personally, I would be happy to include these, perhaps within a wider "R" owners site but with perhaps separate 4 and 6 cylinder areas? | | | |

| i was about to say.. after reading this, what we must do is look at the site owner and see which direction he wishes to take.
with this being the r32oc, it will lose a certain part of why this forum was set up in the first place? if this forum was to be flooded with future R line cars from vw.
