I booked a windscreen replacement with Autoglass 3 weeks ago, for tomorrow. They phoned up today to say they don't work with the underwriters of my policy so I have to use a company called Auto Windscreens. I've never heard of Auto Windscreens before, never have I had Autoglass cancel due to the underwriter.

As I've never heard of Auto Windscreens before - has anyone else used them... any good?

Is this also usually the case for some underwriters with Autoglass?

I've used auto windscreens before, did a good job at the Newcastle branch as I went there instead of them doing it under a gazebo outside my house.

They are a nationwide company who have quite a few insurance contracts with the big companies although I expect wether you get a good job or bad job is down to the fitter that does it
