Currently have my car with TRD to fix a busted passenger side driveshaft on my DSG MkV R. Somehow there are none available anywhere in the UK - genuine or otherwise.

Does anyone have one or can point me in the direction please?

Currently carless so it's a bit desperate.

Thanks...

Why is it busted? What has happened to it?

You could try contacting a breakers or look on ebay? There are a few MK5 R32's being broken on their. Also a few MK2 TT's which I would have thought would be the same, and the 3.2 A3.

Not sure what happened, if I'm honest. But it is accounting for the violent shaking that my car's sustained for the past few weeks that I'd attributed to wheels/new tyres issues!

Thanks for the advice. TRD have tried both of those options. eBay is throwing up aftermarket options, but as they're cheap as chips then they're reluctant to fit/use them. VW have been less than helpful and won't acknowledge that their stock count at the picking warehouse is outdated! So frustrating. Meanwhile I've got a car that I can't/is unsafe to drive!
