Hey guys,

What does this button do next to the door?

It has a symbol of a car with a sort of wifi icon on top?

Image attached.

Cheers.

Haha It's for the internal sensors when alarm is on, if you switch it off you can sit in the car or have windows open when locked and armed If it is on and you lock the car in it / or with windows open the alarm will go off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As said, you push it after opening the driver's door when leaving the car and it disables the interior ultrasonic sensors should you wish to leave a pet, child or your gimp in the car.

My MK1 LCR had a separate button to disable the anti-tow tilt switch for towing and for ferries. Never realised that the one button disabled the anti-theft too.

My 2006 Touran has both - it's one rcocker switch that you can tilt either way to turn off ultrasonics, and/or tilt sensor.
