Thread: Mk4 mirror pinouts/wiring

It's that time again when I need to replace a mirror due to smashing the other on a country lane...

I've gone for the Mattig electric mirrors this time round and have to say, they're a royal pain in the arse full stop.

The mirrors are on, but ideally I would like to know what the 5 wires do (drivers side) and however many passenger side that control the mirrors. From what I can tell only 3 of the wires control the mirrors. Blue/purple, blue and purple. When they're wired in the control to adjust the mirrors when on drivers side, will adjust the passenger side also!

Any wiring guide or pinouts would be most helpful.
