      Default Just Got My 1st Hot Hatch!!

      Hi, only just turned 21 so the insurance company's will actually sort of take me serious now. So got myself an R a few weeks ago...and what can i say i've loved every second so far, well maybe not seeing the fuel light regularly lol. It has completely ticked all the box's so far as my last car was a Vauxhall Astra SRI 1.7cdti XP so the power difference is over double!!

      So was wondering what good cheapish mods could i do for the time being until i get myself some money together after paying dreaded insurance premiums.

      Already done White LED sidelights, White LED interior lights, Flapper Mod.

      Looking at a induction kit but not to sure what one to get...any idea's?

      Welcome mate,

      Loads of people have installed LED interior lighting, as well as LED sidelights at the front and the flapper mod. Personally I would make the flapper mod a temporary measure and and get yourself a Milltek Non-Resonated exhaust before an induction kit, makes the sound even better!

      What you got a mk4 or 5? Whats your insurance like- im 23 and mine is over 800 quid so dread to think what you pay!
