All recently purchased my golf mk5 r32 in black 5door dsg
Have realised 2 issues
Front drivers bearing
Engine shaky on idle
I'm in glasgow Scotland
Any one recommend best local friendly garage with knowledge on these cars where I could fix these issues also any help on the engine shaking what I could be would be greatful

I would imagine its an engine mount. What's the shaking like because they have a natural shake/vibration on idle. What's the mileage?

Welcome mate, has your R32 had its recall on coil packs ? Vw done a recall on them and were replacing if faulty for free... Where in Glasgow you from?

Not used them myself uit Deutchtek off Woodlands Rd at Charing Cross and VW Audi Repair Centrei in Bothwell at the Raith Interchange get good reports. The latter also has a garage in Duntocher.

If the coil packs are ok it may be a grbby plug or the idle set to low. It may have been cammed up in the past.

I have had a couple of issues with Crow Rd in the past but nothing to do with the quality of their work just the quality of the sales and service staff

Yeah so true was in one time looking at gtd/ similar cars salesman about 12 comes out started rabbling on about a Hyundai ix35 ! Wtf...
