I drove from Linolnshire to near Inverness the other day and managed to get 33.0 mpg, was quite impressed with that. That was including some 6th gear rolling starts against a Renault MeganeSport 250, incredibly it was neck and neck everytime! I reckon if we had gone for more though (into triple digits) he would have started pulling away.

Amazing MPG... What was your average speed?

51mph over the 570 odd miles. it was around 60mph but dropped when i had to go through Glasgow

I've been away to Somerset this weekend and managed 33.4mpg on the way back using cruise control and a lot of self deciplin to stick to 70 mph. Was very impressed with that return. Wish I had taken photos myself now.
