Im getting new brake pads installed now and the company i ordered from sent me the pads with incorrect connector type for ABS. Sense i waited to long to get them installed i dont have an option to return these. My option is to go with a lesser pad the installer will supply me with or use these pads and have abs disabled(bypassed).

Has anyone run the car without ABS? Do the brakes work or will the brakes fail?

why would you need too turn the abs off for the pad indicator
they are on different warning lights
And it's not a mot fail for the pad light to be on

Surely they are the wrong pads if the pad wear sensor is wrong? There is only one variant of pad/sensor combo for the r32

You guys are correct, the installers confused me by stating it was for the ABS. The plug is for wear indication, which is still the wrong connector type but not as important. Thank you for the fast replies.
