hey all,

just opened up my dash to do some connections to my stereo. while everything was disconnected I switched the car on and I got an Air-bag fault come up.

I haven't touched the airbags but i assume the fault came up as a result of the air bag connector being disconnected.

the question is whether or not the fault will keep coming up until i clear the fault on vag-com? or is it a more serious problem that i have?

help please :)

Unless you disconnect the battery first, simply disconnecting the airbag will throw up a fault code.

The only way to remove this is via Vag-com.
