In itself ammusing for a minute or so but not super funny.

This weekend at the GP campsite on Saturday night, someone shouted Alan and the collective went mental. Alans and Steves were echoing around the campsite for hours! It was hilarious to the point I could barely stand, please remember I had at this point been drinking for 12 hours.

Has anyone experienced this at any events, the amount of people shouting Alan or Steve was crazy! Literally echoing around the camp for a couple of hours. Where has it come from? Is this a common thing?

Surely not all these people have seen the vid. It was even taking place on the bank at Vale during the leadup to the GP.

Was so funny but I guess you have to be there to appreciate it.

It's been around for a few years now, yes. Even happened at Glasonbury etc.

It can pretty funny, and worse if you have already got the giggles.

Yeah this was happening at V fest aswel. tried to explain how funny it was to some mates who didn't go, they just looked at me with a blank expression! Guess you have to be there

Good work, I wondered if it was a race meet thing or just a one off.

Most of the festivals I go to are in Spain or are small events, so I guess this explains how I have missed it. Saw the video when they made the interweb haha.

Ha ha so chances are we were probably on differents ends of a few "Alans" during the evening. I haven't laughed that hard in a fair old while.
