I looked on Warranty Direct for a laugh for my 06 R32 with 30k, and they wanted £956.

Yes mate.. That was just my years quote for warranty though for my standard R32. So can only imagine FI is more. They may not even entertain it..

No warranty company will cover an FI'd R32, all the FI'd R32's will be serviced independantly at not at VW as there useless................Better off getting the job done right or buying one thats been done.

Nope, the extended warranty ran out on mine the day i removed the engine

look after the car myself with trusted Mechanics ive used for years. No chance of letting the "new" boy at VW service my Haldex and filling it up with diff oil!
