Well I have booked my R in for a service @ APS just shy of 60K now

I will also be having,
Stage 1 brake upgrade consists of brake fluid replacement using the ATE Super Blue fluid, as my brakes are pants in the wet.
(Just going to see it this helps)

When I contacted VW just to have a nose at prices they did not know what a VW Golf MK4 R32 was ........1.6 ..........Diesel .......etc Gulp !

VW dealers quoted prices from £170.00 to £350.00
But they did not know about the hadex oil change,

APS all the way and not VW (Thanks Ed):vroam:

They're well worth having done - I had mine fitted on Friday at APS and am really really pleased with the result.

APS fitted my ARB's too (Neuspeed 25mm front, 22mm rears), definately recommend it!

I assume the additional weight of the V6 is the reason for the stiffer front end, but as I have the defcon II bushings and the haldex performance controller, understeer is certainly not something I worry about anymore, and is a reason why I only went for 22mm on the rear rather than 25mm. I just did what Ed advised!!!

For some reason I'd put in my sig that I had Eibach ARB's fitted when it was a actually H&R with 24mm at the front and 26mm at the rear.

I can't fault the service there. I must drop Ed an email and see if he's got the new knob for my Haldex switch yet.
