Has anyone seen or heard of plasti dip ??

If not its a spray on product which you can apply to your whole cat or wheels in various colours of a gloss or matte finish, then peel off when you wan to go back to your original colour or fancy a change with no damage being done to the original paint

Thinking or buying the kit and starting up doing it

I used it on my wheels nefore, ive still got 4 rattle cans of it left, ended up using about a can a wheel, was good but only lasted me a couple of weeks, doesnt take much to scratch off split or mark,

How many coats did you apply to it ?? I've been doing a lot of research over the past few weeks as it all leads to it being rather durable on you apply the right amount of coats and time between coats

I put a whole can per wheel, so about 3-4 coats

I see as they recommend 6 coats , all the demos I've seen have proven very durable an can with sand up close jet washes , car washes etc

i like this stuff, i think its cool, go on youtube and type in dipyourcar.com they do loads of stuff
id say go for it
ive heard of people spray it and it lasts years, and if they curb a wheel, peel it off and spray it again...good as new

what are you planning on spraying?

I done my front and side grills a few weeks ago....badly. You'll need a primer for non porus suface's, the silver bit on the grill, which I didn't buy Take your time. I didn't. Jobs a goodun'

I'm ordering the kit next week , I can't see it being hard for my self as I paint cars for a living anyway , but won't be practicing on the R haha
