Right, Its been well documented my grumbles with performance of my R, with the car in the garage next weekend hopefully i'm close to resolving my Haldex issues. However!!... I was just on the way back from having a mop chopped when the Volvo v60 D4 in front slowed to an almost stop to allow the clio that had been holding us up turn left. the road was nice n straight and clear. So rolling in second i planned to over take the Volvo and have a nice drive back. The Volvo had other ideas. I apply the throttle and soon realise that this feels odd... the volvo was edging away... into 3rd same thing i cant close the gap. the Volvo steadied at 70mph with a rather bemused and grumpy R32 owner sat behind him... "This is crap" I muttered to myself and racked my brains all the way home. Is the V60 D4 that quick... Or is My R just pants, Or is that just the natural pace ( or lack of ) of the mk4 r32? So while driving home i was wondering if anyone else had a mk4 r32 that was local and fancied meeting up to take mine for a spin and compare to yours? maybe take me out in your R too... Theres a pint in it if anyone fancies it ? I live just outside Moreton in Marsh in the cotswolds. So let me know anyone thats local and fancies a meet
