Hi all

Thought id start a thread about my newly acquired mk4 r32.
been in the family since new and done a fair few motorway miles, but never been thrashed. 2 lady owners, my sister in law and her mother.

anyway, the car:

03 black mk4 r32
not sure of exact normal spec but this has sunroof, xenons and heated all leather konigs (think thats it?))
128,000 miles
fsh, mostly vw
new clutch, master and slave cyinders at 115,000 miles

transfered to my brother and his wife 18 mths ago who have done:
front and rear bumpers resprayed
tailgate derusted and resprays
paintless dent removal a lot
4 coil packs (im ordering 2 so all willbe new)
new window clip
new driver door control module thing that primes fuel pump
new discs and pads on rear
new discs and front discs machined torem8ve surface corrosion as onoy done 5k

apologies laptopis broken so using my tablet...

also had new rear springs.

plans are to use and freshen it up, not going to be modifying really. done the flapper mod and need toreplace large rad fan as its dead. then its refurb wheels, repaint calipers

and tinker. got a 78 mgb gt as a proper project so this is my daily and toy. pics once they are downooaded to follow

Welcome to the forum.

Which MGB GT do you have, 1.8 4 cyl or 3.5 V8?

Any pics?

cheers. its the 1800. in lots of bits at the minute will try to grt some oics up tomorrow when im on a proper computer
Not seen one for years and saw an orange one parked up last week.

A few pictures fo the MGB GT

When i first got it, and now....

Plan to get the welding done over the autumn / winter, then semi-sebring kit, unsure of paint, wide wheels, low, mild engine tuning and see how it goes
