Looking for a second set of wheels for the mk4, now I would love a set of genuine bbs ch wheels but the price tags are a bit off putting and the wife sometimes drives the car!!!! So looking for a set of DECENT replicas? Anyone had any experience of where to source such wheels? I've seen loads on eBay etc but have no idea of the quality of wheel other than pic and quick description. From lookin at the replicas the obvious difference seems to be the replicas don't seen to flare out the same as genuine ones? Is replicas seem more flat faced? Anyone any recommendations of good/ bad replicas to stay clear of?

CH reps can be had brand new pretty cheap, £350 delivered for some. I would recomend the Dare's version of the CH i had them on for a while and they were perfect, a guy had them on an S3 before me. Never had any quality issues with them at all. They have a low offset so watch if you want spacers or got big brakes because they will cause hassle

the roads are that bad now that id be frightened to drive my car with gen bbs's on which is why I had reps on my old mk4 anni, theres a bit that advertise on gumtree from Ireland that do a lot of rep wheels, that's where my old lm reps came from and couldn't fault them tbh

Thanks for the positive replys, will have a look at the dare version of the ch. Like I said I'd love genuine but if the missus or myself damaged them I'd be inconsolable! If the wheels only cost a few hundred then I'd just be mad!

There's a set of 8.5-19 ch black Editions reps over on mk5gti.co.uk with tyres for £600
I previously had these wheel before I sold them to Darren last June
I've had genuine Bbs before bought off pvw Motorsport and yes the quality is 2nd to none
But running reps as dailys is painful
