hi all looking for a bit feedback on the bilstein shocks,
was going to go for the koni,h&r springs after a phone convo i was recommended to go the bilstein
and eibech springs is there much difference in comfort and height in the b6 and b8s shocks

B6 and B8 shocks have the same damping rates as each other, it's just the B8 range is shorter, therefore designed for lowered vehicles. The B6 is for standard height to a small drop only.

And also, shock absorbers won't affect ride height in the way you possibly think, it's just the springs that do this.

B8's with lowering springs make the car sit a bit higher than lowering springs on standard shocks

As for ride quality it's ok but pretty hard, but it pays off when you take it for a proper drive

thanks for responses so if i went for the b8s and 20/25 drop springs is a pretty all round safe bet then for bumps and that
