It seems the microswitch for my bonnet (mk4 r32) is goosed. The last owner has disconnected it because the alarm wouldn't arm with it plugged in.

Does anybody know the part number of them and also how much they typically go for?

They are not cheap but not too expensive either. I paid around €30 for mine.
I reckon in the UK maybe £25?
