what do you guys find best to use when cleaning plastics before spraying to remove silicone etc so that the paint bonds properly? I have used paint brush cleaner before in the past but lately it doesn't seem as good.

IPA then a wipe over with a tack rag

Thinners should be ok just pour a bit on a rag wipe on and wipe off so its dry, test it on an unseen area first to be on the safe side

You could try using a degreaser then just scotch it though, thinners is best to remove silicone though

If its an unpainted part you can also try heating it up it'll sweat out all the silicone then just panel wipe off

Never tried this but have used various other hb body products and they are decent
