My wife took our R to have one of its alloys refurbished by Audi today (I took out alloy wheel warranty from VW when I bought my car but my local Audi dealer does the repairs).

On my return from work my wife told me what a great job Audi had done and that they had cleaned the car inside and out.

Nooooooooooo! They've washed my car!!!! I only detailed it recently and I know they've undone all mine and my daughters hard work. When the R goes for servicing etc I always remember to tell them not to wash the exterior, but today it slipped my mind.

So sad, but on the other hand thoroughly impressed with Audi
