Yes and yes haha. Totally worth it though, would die of boredom if I did that commute in a derv. If you're going to spend two hours a day on country lanes you've got to have a bit of fun, right?

Very true! I did the same drive myself for a few years in a mixture of 1.8T Golf Anni., BMW 330Ci and A3 2.0 TDI and can confirm that the petrols were quite a lot more fun!
