Sold my R32 this week, and browsing through classifieds looking at potential new cars and my heart skips a beat every time I see another blue R32. Was going to get a 335i or S4 but can't help feeling they're just not special enough?

I can't believe i'm actually thinking about it but I might just end up buying another R32, though I can sort of justify it to myself in that i'll get a DSG this time instead of a manual.

Am I insane or just addicted, i've never felt this way after selling a car before!

I feel your pain!

Sold my mk5 manual in April 2012 and had an E92 M3 DCT then a Audi S3 manual, but either didn't feel as special as the R, got myself a R32 DSG in April this year and love it. Such an awesome car.

Think the S4 would fit the bill a bit better, Maybe give it a go its the 4WD and nice weighty feel of the car that you will miss. Its very hard to replace the drive of the R32 i recently bought a E93 325I and as much as i love that car. Something about my R32 is just special its a complete package, Looks, Noise, Drive. It lacks power i find the R32 is slow performance wise but around town because of the big responsive engine and 4WD it is very rapid in the lower gears.
