Hi, I have noticed after rain or a car wash water collects on my front and rear door sills.
I noticed a large gap between my doors on both sides and wondered if something is missing from my doors? A seal or plastic insert on the end of the rear doors?
I only bought the car in late September and didn't notice the issue.

Nothing missing. That's normal, as long as it isn't getting past the seal and into the car.

Okay, no water getting inside but I thought something was missing from here (see red area in edited pic of back door).
There appears to be a pastic edge but no covering.

Your panel gaps don't look right, but there is nothing missing in your last picture.

I need to get my door gaps looked at by a panel shop!

The mk5 was known for not good door panel gaps

Some are spot on and others not so...
