Hello all. Just wondering if anyone knows if the door bump strips are stuck on or screwed on. Just looking at the car and I'd love to see what it looks like without these but don't want to even attempt it if they are screwed on, naturally because I will be left with holes. It's an 06 mk5.

They clip into holes which need welding shut and then painting I'm afraid....

Same with rear quarter panels

i have been toying with this idea too but i think i'll hold out until i fully respray. lovely mod but a hell of a lot of work and cost!!

Am guessing the markV the same, think it will look good tbh. Cause it will be different. But just take the doir strips off nothing else, like smoothing the bumper or that that just going O T T.

Google is a great engine for search stuff car domain a american site. Out of 263 R32 not one was smoothed lol
