Drive belt tensioner

1460 Views 8 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  CorradoR32
Hi all, today my tensioner pulley went and popped the belt off. i have a replacement belt on order, but on stripping my r32 down i noticed the tensioner was actually fine, it was the pulley bearing that seized up, then the plastic pulley had actually melted! can the plastic pulley wheel and bearing be purchased separately, or do i need to buy the full tensioner unit?

thanks guys

what year is your car bud, as there is 2 different tensioners. i dare say i could use the actual pulley and bearing from yours if the tensioner is different but im not sure if that is different too
