Has anyone one here installed an Electronic Exhaust Cutout to there MKIV R32? So you can either have to exhaust quieter or loud.

Ive used the QTP on mine and it only lasted 5 minutes before the clutch burnt out and the dis-similar metals binded.
Go for Oettle and use vacuum to operate it.

I have been looking at these but was wondering if could fit it with a pipe to basically go round the resonator so could have it resonate then flick a switch and it be non res. does that make sense and would it be possible?
