Can anyone tell me what the multi valve unit is, have had my car on diagnostics which had identified this as being the problem, £240 if the stealer does it, £100 if I do it myself, but don't know what it is, what it does or where it is fitted?, would appreciate any help.

I can't say I've ever heard of a multi valve unit... I know we have multi valve engines but google doesn't even bring up any info.

Only thing I can think of, close to that description, is the VVT (Variable Valve Timing) Unit.
