Hello everyone

I went out for a spin this afternoon and when i got and i started the R the the engine light came on and has stay on since, but it pulls fine and there's no funny sounds or anything.

is it ok to drive it like that in the mean time?????

i will take it to my vw specialist on monday to vag.com it.

Is it def the engine warning light or the picture of the engine warning light?
Picture of engine means fault with the exhaust system according to owners manual, which could be a faulty sensor?
Worth getting it checked out though

You really need to get it scanned as it could be any number of things.

The consequence of most engine faults is that the combustion is either rich or lean. When if falls outwith defined parameters as detected by one or more of the lambda probes it flags up an engine warning light. A faulty lambda probe would also trigger the light.

As the lambda probes are located in the exhaust, 2 pre-cat, 2 post-cat, that is wjy the owner's manual refers to the exhaust system.

You'll get a better idea once it's scanned on Monday.
