Bought my Golf R a few weeks ago and so far I'm loving it

Rising blue
3dr
DCC whatever that is lol
19" black talladega
DSG

Bought it completely standard and unmolested

I came from a mk4 Golf R32 on air ride with a full respray and mods everywhere you look but it was time to move onto something a bit newer

well i've been speaking to storm today, for a decat downpipe and a panel filter ill be seeing around 400hp! there car made 397hp!!

so that'll be happening asap haha! on the other had they've fcuked the paper work up again and ive now gotta wait untill next week sometime now! so also 3 week wait for a car! getting ridiculous

really? that seems a tad ambitious lol, stage 2+ remap, high pressure fuel pump, full turbo back exhaust and air intake brings it to roughly 360-370bhp

fair enough, i might call them, id be interested to know how they achieved those numbers, then i can destroy the r400 hopefully

Think the 400 mark is only achieved with an hybrid version of the standard turbo. Look at stattlers at Sheffield he's tuning them to over 500bhp on standard engine

This weekend i have been busy rebuilding my old car, but managed to fit time into detailing the R, and also fitted an old blow off valve spacer that i found in the garage, had it on my 1.4 tsi and fits perfect so why not haha, ill call it a free mod as i forgot all about it (had it 3 years)

Anyway quick video of the car (excuse the porno music, youtube doesn't like copyright music)

Us oldies see R20 as a Renault 20.. Good cars in their day, I had a R30TX for a while when I was your age.

no he means the led's in the actual headlights, not the gti/gtd fogs
