I am potentially parting with our R32 for a Golf R, which we have owned since October 2018 (my wife being the 5th owner).

5 door, reflex silver, zolders in anthracite, sat nav (with latest disc), leather sunroof, highline speedo. 2 keys, 12 stamps in service book (7 VW, 5 indie/specialists).

103,000 miles, we purchased the car on around 94,500. Under my ownership the following work has been carried out at VAG Autocare Lincoln and P Breading Audi VW in Essex.

95k: chain and tensioners replaced, whilst engine was out, clutch and flywheel changed, haldex also serviced.

102k: oil change and filter, air filter, new sparks, new front discs, new front pads.

103k: MOT september 2020, no advisories.

Points of note, front left arch bubbling under paint, scuff to front bumper, wheels touched up but potentially someone may want to refurb in the future.

£7,200.

Yeah bought a cheap Volvo V50 T5 which has turned into nothing short of a disaster. I should never buy old cheap cars that "need just a bit of TLC"
that's grim mate :-(

looked a good motor on detailing world. are u going to update the thread on there? what went wrong with it?

Hi All - car still taking up garage space, had a few bids from people outside of the forum but would prefer to see it go to someone who can appreciate it. Over £3,400 spent in the past 8,000 miles is a testament to how much I value pre-emptive maintenance.

Still for sale, don't expect it to go quickly as we are in Lockdown, plenty of time wasters and traders (comes with the territory I guess!). If there is any real interest, please don't hesitate to inbox or call me through the Autotrader Ad.
