Got the motor booked in next week to get front bumper painted and number plate deleted and smoothed, was wondering where to put number plate, any ideas? Fitment.. Velcro or just foam tape I've got pressed metal plates.

Do what M7NUP did with a bracket to one side

I've just had mine done and sit it in the window at present.
I have some low tack film coming with my plate printed on so can just pull it off and stick it back on etc. (like cling film)
Be careful with the magnet idea as i have seen people do it and over time it scratches the bumper.

Where can I get this sticker plate from?? Is it road legal though? I'm going to have it in the window at start..I don't do many miles in it so shouldn't be a massive problem with getting stopped.

Either run plateless and keep it in the boot invase you get stopped or keep number plate in original location. Spending money on getting bumper smoothed then sticking the plate elsewhere looks wrong on my opinion.

Bought mine with plate on lower centre grille and took it off and refitted plinth within a week as it looked messy.

As a temporary thing I drilled some holes in a cheap Halfords number plate and cable tied it to the bottom grill. Works a treat! Doesn't look fantastic but it will do until i get round to getting magnets!
