Took my car to a body shop I use to see about getting the bonnet and bumper painted, I had a price in my head (£250) when I asked him how much it would be he explained that the bumper, bonnet and two wings would need painted the wings because he has to blend the paint in and he would also fix the slight rusting that I have on the inner wings caused by stones chipping it, the price he quoted was £500 does that seem about right.

£500 notes seems about right man. most body shops average £100 per panel, I know few people had their front end painted. most are about £500. £600,£700 so yer good price dude.

Yep agreed that seems a good price. Mines off in on Weds for his bum sorting (got hit by a drunk driver last week, nothing major just cosmetic) and it's gunna be £1500. Painting alone is £325 and that's just a bumper!

Thats a fair price and doesnt set any alarm bells off for being too cheap either. Have you seen there previous work??
Yip and spoke to him at length about painting a door on a Range Rover i was detailing as the paint was very thin compared to the rest of the car and the job was excellent.

Cheers everyone will get it booked in for paint

I was quoted £1000 for front bumper, wings, rear bumper, door handles, pillars, boot, bonnet and any random scratches or chips
