1. The videos were from YouTube and YouTube is strict about what's uploaded
2. I gave a strict warning of what was shown
3. I saw it on daytime television
4. It was meant as a warning to anyone wanting to try Proxy flying rather than a "hey look at this"
5. Members have uploaded 50+ videos of fatalities from Live Leak (which is a site I don't like) as a "cool look at this" which I don't believe were questioned/removed

Very disappointed in your decision to remove a video uploaded as an educational example...

Neither has any "gore" as they are both from YouTube but the first one shows the impact (it's at 120+ mph). The SECOND video was on TV and the actual impact is blacked out (but the sound of the impact isn't)

I know, can't believe it was removed when it was put up as a warning of the dangers involved. There's hundreds of videos showing how great Proxy Flying is and it does look like the best thing ever... But when I first saw that video on TV it put me off Proxy Flying completely. The really annoying thing is all the Live Leak car and lorry head on collision fatalities that's been posted on this forum for fun over the past few years with no removal...

As far as I can remember, no fatality videos have been posted on the forum in the past.

As for removing this, It was the right decision. Seeing a video of someone slamming into a bridge should at the VERY least be wrapped into a spoiler tag, a simple method of googling the video would be the best way.

I have seen many videos of fatalities uploaded on this forum (uploaded by members for viewing pleasure...)

I did give a warning (no idea what a spoiler is I assumed a warning was the same and I don't like the word spoiler as it makes it sound like the video was uploaded for pleasure.. which it wasn't)

This is a car forum but as you can see from this thread and by looking through other threads that the majority of posts really aren't about cars.

I'm just disappointed that a video posted with a warning, intended to show the risks of a sport was removed when countless tasteless videos posted for "fun" have never been removed.

Had any of the admins removed any of the fatalities shown on this forum for fun I would have thought twice about posting this, but I don't consider it the same thing as it wasn't posted for fun.

I've just done a quick search of the forum and seen 5 videos of fatalities posted on this forum that were never removed, that was a quick search and represents maybe 10% of the fatal videos uploaded by other people. I won't link you to them for fear of being targeted again...

I am annoyed as I have mates who are constantly saying "look at this" "watch this" and it's always a picture of some motorcyclists whose been decapitated or some other sick video and I hate that sort of thing. Members have done that on here from Live Leak and I don't like it and no one batters an eyelid. Yet I upload a video from YOUTUBE as a warning to other members of the dangers involved in a sport with a clear warning and I'm the bad guy.

Dear me I know it's probably just that the admins never saw the many other uploads but it just annoys me.

I hoped people were mature enough to understand why I posted the video but obviously not

What's really ironic is almost 3 years ago I posted the same video on this forum in an almost identical topic about wingsuit flying...

So you can see why I'm confused on the rules
