I wouldn't read too much into it as R-Line is just a trim level, similar to S-Line for Audi. It's already available on Polos, Passats and Sciroccos. Don't mix it up with the R model.

Agreed, it says it looks to preview the styling of the mk7 golf R, it doesnt say it is the mk7 golf R if you get me

I've said before that the twin centre pipes should have been kept - does a 2 litre really require quad pipes?

Plus it's what the S3 will have so just makes it similar to Audi.

looks quite smart but if goin for the quads it needs a nice shiney bore on the back, and I must say 2.0 turbos PFTTT much rather a straight v6 and proper grunt!
