Hello everyone it saddens me to say that my dream car has to go.

I searched and searched for a clean example and after 6 I found my baby

She is costing to much and has become a drive way ornament

I have owned the car for over a year and since buying it I have gone without to buy things for it.

The Car

2003 reg
Deep blue pearl
3dr
74,500
Full leather
Sunroof
Cruise control

Everything else is as standard and I won't go on because we know the cars

Mot nov
Tax sep

Extras

Pipercross filter cone with heat Shield ( original air box with pipercross panel filter)
Quick shifter
Front/rear polybushs
TI performance Monitor (brilliant bit of kit if you like gadgets) (4 days old)
Draft 42 CNC shifter shims
Painted engine cover
R8 oil filler cap
PSI red performance top mounts
Painted shark fin
Front EBC yellow stuff pads (1 month old)
Front MTec grooved black edition discs (1 month old)
Colour coded braided hoses (1 month old)
Personalised number plate is going with car R32 AWS (in pressed and normal)
Front spacers 10mm
Rear spacers 20mm
Number plate surrounds
Complete upgraded head light bulbs
Number plate xenons
Head light protectors
Black badges (originals included)

All original stuff that I've removed is included

The steering wheel has been refurbed
All calipers have been reprinted and look fantastic

Now for the honesty bit

I bought the car on the 1st July 2012 and 13 days later at no more than 10 Mph the timing chain let go bad or good you decide. I had the engine stripped and everything that could of been damaged changed i.e oil pump, water pump, thermostat, clutch, fly wheel, valves all 24 all gaskets, plugs. The list goes on and on.

The only damage to the engine was 3 out of the 24 valves and that was it but because I wanted to keep until I could be buried in it I had every single nut and bolt changed that was removed in the work, the head and block sent away and checked.

The grand total was a whopping 4k but worth it because as we know I'd never buy another one again without having the chain done on it.

E only other things I can mention is that the steering colum surround has key marks on it through ware and tear also the front bumper has a few stone chips on it

I have tried to be as honest as I can so please please don't have a go as this is my first time selling on forum

The car is in really good condition

I really would like 7250 because it does ow me 10,500

"you must sell that car" ? ok if you do sell it, what do you replace it with? will you resent the comment once it has gone?. not trying to stir things up for you bud but like you say if you dont drink or smoke then what else have you got? you say you dont need to sell it so it cant be a money thing, I am sure you love your wife to pieces, maybe you have spent excessively on it with a 4K bill for engine work following chain breakage. there are not many cars out there for this sort of money that give you a smile when you get in them, maybe I am blinkered. GLWS anyway bud.
